Lafayette Lacrosse Club

Founded in 2010, the Lafayette Generals Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to promoting the growth and experience of Lacrosse. Lafayette Boys Lacrosse now fields a Varsity Team, Junior Varsity Team and working towards a Middle School Team, competing against teams throughout Central KY.

Lafayette Generals Lacrosse is a club sport, governed by the Commonwealth Lacrosse League and operates at Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY.

Meet the Coach

Coach Ben Murphy comes to Lafayette after coaching college Lacrosse for 5 seasons. His most recent position as at Asbury University where he served as the Head Coach.

Coach Murphy began his coaching career at Lexington Catholic High School as an assistant. He also coached at South Oldham High School in Louisville, KY for 2 seasons. He was named Assistant Coach of the Year in 2012 while coaching at South Oldham.

Coach Murphy attended the University of Kentucky where he received his B.A. in Communications. Coach Murphy also received his Master's in Education at Ohio Valley University in Vienna, WV where he served as an Assistant Coach for the fighting Scots.

Second Annual Holiday Wreath Fundraiser

Lafayette High School Boys Lacrosse will having our second annual Holiday Wreath Fundraiser this year. The fundraiser starts September 1st, 2020 and ends November 4th, 2020. All product will be delivered after Thanksgiving 2020. Thank you in advance for your support.

2021 Scholarship Player Registration

In addition to the registration. All Scholarship players are required to give a presentation to the board of directors at a time to be determined. All scholarship players must be approved by the athletic director and school administrators based on need prior to applying for a scholarship. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
