Coaches

Steven Sommer is the head boys lacrosse coach at Lafayette High School, where he previously served as the defensive coordinator. Before joining Lafayette, he spent three years as the boys lacrosse head coach at Jessie Clark Middle School, where he founded the program and led the team to regular season and tournament championships in its third year. Originally a native of Yorktown, Virginia, Sommer played defense and LSM for Grafton High School, winning a region title in 2009, and later competed for Longwood University’s club lacrosse team.
